The Minnesota Vikings appear to be heading into the game of the year with a bill of clean health, but one of their important pieces may be forced to sit out. Safety Andrew Sendejo missed his second straight practice with groin and hamstring injuries.
Sendejo’s likely fill-in Anthony Harris was limited in practice. If Harris isn’t ready to play, the Vikings may have to move Terence Newman to safety and start Mackensie Alexander at nickel corner against the Los Angeles Rams at US Bank Stadium on Sunday.
Also limited in practice was pass rusher Everson Griffen, who missed last week’s game with a foot injury. He told reporters Wednesday that he expects to play.
Right tackle Mike Remmers was limited as he looks to come back from a concussion suffered in London against the Cleveland Browns. Last week backup tackle Rashod Hill filled in and did not allow a QB pressure.
