Vikings release former third-round pick Crichton

The Minnesota Vikings announced they have waived former third-round pick Scott Crichton.

The defensive lineman appeared in 21 games in 2014 and 2015, combining for just 10 total tackles.

#Vikings have officially waived DL Scott Crichton. The active roster now stands at 64 players.

Minnesota signed Datone Jones this offseason, a former Packers free agent defensive lineman.
