According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Minnesota Vikings have signed defensive end Brian Robison to a one-year contract extension. Overthecap.com reports the deal will create $1.8 million in cap space.

Robison is coming off a 7.5 sack season, his highest total since 2013.
As Danielle Hunter moves into a bigger role, Robison will work as a rotational pass rusher when the team is at full strength, but he still has the capability to play full-time if needed.
