Lacy visited with the Vikings over the weekend as Minnesota explores potential options to fill Adrian Peterson’s spot in the backfield. The Seahawks are now likely off the table for Peterson, who visited Seattle.
Last season, Lacy averaged 5.1 Yards Per Carry in an injury-shortened season. He spent the first five years of his career with Green Bay, rushing 788 times for 3,435 yards and 23 touchdowns.
The next best experienced option for the Vikings is Oakland Raiders free agent running back Lavatius Murray, who is 6-foot-3, 230-pounds and averages 4.2 YPC for his career.
