Adrian Peterson is nearing a return from injury, and he had previously said that he’d circled the Christmas Eve game against the Packers. Change of plans.
Peterson said Friday in an interview with Dash Radio that he’s planning to return Sunday against the Colts. It wouldn’t be the first time Peterson returned from an injury sooner than many expected.
Earlier this week, the Vikings designated Peterson to return from I.R., in case he could play as soon as this week. They’ll still need to make a roster move to get him on the 53-man roster and activated for Sunday’s game.
