The Minnesota Vikings announced Saturday that they have released safety Cedric Thompson from their practice squad. The Vikings signed running back Bishop Sankey to the practice squad on Friday.
The former Golden Gopher was drafted in the fifth round by the Miami Dolphin in 2015 and spent time on the New England Patriots’ practice squad.
There was some buzz about Thompson after he had a strong pro day and ran a 4.38 40-yard dash.
