Bleacher Report – Vikings

Linval Joseph active as Vikings near full strength vs. Seahawks

By Andrew Krammer

MINNEAPOLIS — Outside of backup nose tackle Kenrick Ellis, the Vikings are at full strength for Sunday’s wild-card game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Ellis is inactive after being held out of practice all week with an ankle injury suffered in Green Bay. He’s replaced by rookie defensive tackle B.J. DuBose, who was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad on Tuesday.

The Vikings will have all 11 starters on defense for just the second time since Nov. 22. Starting nose tackle Linval Joseph is active and will play. He’s been limited by a bothersome toe injury suffered on Nov. 29 in Atlanta.

Defensive end Everson Griffen (shoulder) and running back Adrian Peterson (low back) were designated probable on the injury report, and will play.

Vikings’ inactives: NT Ellis, QB Heinicke, DL Moore, C Easton, OL Sirles, LB Watts and WR Johnson

Seahawks’ inactives: CB Tye Smith, RB Lynch, LB Pierre-Louis, OL Glowinski, OL Sokoli, TE Willson and DT Francis.
