Bleacher Report – Vikings

Linval Joseph, Adrian Peterson listed probable for Vikings on Sunday

By Andrew Krammer

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Vikings will be near full strength for Sunday’s wild-card game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Nose tackle Linval Joseph is set to play in just his second game since November, as he’s probable after returning to practice this week. Joseph has been bothered by a lingering toe injury suffered in the Vikings’ Nov. 29 win in Atlanta, which forced him to miss four of the last five games, including the Vikings’ 38-7 loss to the Seahawks on Dec. 6.

Running back Adrian Peterson vowed to play, and will, after sitting out two practices this week with a lower back injury suffered in Green Bay. Peterson, Joseph, defensive end Everson Griffen (shoulder) and receiver Adam Thielen (shoulder/low back) are probable for Sunday.

The only Vikings player ruled out is nose tackle Kenrick Ellis, who injured his ankle at Lambeau last weekend. Ellis didn’t practice all week. The Vikings promoted rookie B.J. DuBose from the practice squad this week for depth. They’ve also got defensive lineman Zach Moore on the active roster.

Seattle’s injury report will be published here when available.
