MINNEAPOLIS — The good news for fans of the Vikings is that the team has proven it can win an ugly game without much of a boost from its superstar. That bad news is that despite Minnesota’s 16-10 win Sunday against Kansas City, the Chiefs bottled up Adrian Peterson for 60 yards on 26 carries, a meager 2.3-yard average.
