Despite just 31 rushing yards in the season opener, Adrian Peterson has regained his spot atop the NFL’s rushing throne with 291 yards through three games — including 260 in back-to-back wins. In order to keep his roll going forward, Peterson and the Vikings will have to crash through a Denver Broncos defense that ranks No. 1 in yardage allowed and pass yardage allowed, No. 3 in scoring defense and No. 6 in rushing defense.
