MINNEAPOLIS — Adrian Peterson rushed for 134 yards on 29 carries, and caught two passes for 58 yards in the Vikings’ victory over the Detroit Lions last Sunday. Yet, there was one play involving Peterson that stood out.
That was the short reception the Vikings running back made after missing a block in the second quarter. Peterson turned it into a 49-yard gain, but the end of the run stuck in your head. That’s because he was decelerating and appeared out of gas.
