EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Detroit Lions scored two touchdowns on Sunday against the Vikings.
Both drives incorporated some no-huddle tempo, which coach Mike Zimmer is wary of again this week as his defense prepares for a similar test against quarterback Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers.
“We’re going to need our fans this week, especially with the no-huddle offense that they run, the muddle huddle and the communication,” Zimmer said. “I think they can really help us by being loud this Sunday.”
