EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Mike Zimmer wasn’t going to defer if the Vikings won the coin toss on Sunday.
Zimmer said his plan was to get the ball first. He wanted to get running back Adrian Peterson and his offense going right away, and, in retrospect, was encouraged by the way a patched offensive line entered the game with an edge.
