MINNEAPOLIS — Phil Loadholt looked in pain after the Vikings’ second offensive snap in Saturday’s preseason game against Tampa Bay. He had his head in his hands on the sideline and didn’t appear to be able to put any pressure on his left leg.
Loadholt, 29, was carted off the sideline and into the locker room after he was injured on a Jerick McKinnon run in the first quarter. Loadholt missed five starts last season due to a torn pectoral muscle.
Rookie T.J. Clemmings replaced Loadholt at right tackle.
Update: Loadholt has been ruled out…
