The Vikings claimed the 2015 rights of former Canadian Football League cornerback Jalil Carter.
Carter, 25, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the St. Louis Rams in 2011 and went through training camp. The Akron product played three seasons in the CFL, most recently for the Toronto Argonauts. He has played both defensive back and receiver.
Listed 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, Carter joins DeMarcus Van Dyke as two defensive backs inked by the Vikings to reserve/future contracts in 2015.
