MINNEAPOLIS — Chants for “Ted-dy, Ted-dy” remained the same as Teddy Bridgewater’s first start on Sept. 28, but the quarterback play was markedly different in Sunday’s season finale win over the Chicago Bears.
Bridgewater completed 101-of-140 passes [72%] in the last five games, buoying his rookie completion percentage to 64.4% — the third-highest total of any rookie quarterback in NFL history. He completed 17-of-25 throws for 209 yards, a touchdown and interception in the Vikings’ 13-9 win against the Bears.
