EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — You may not have noticed it, but defensive end Brian Robison was out of his normal position on a handful of plays during the Vikings’ 16-14 loss at Detroit on Sunday.
Robison, 31, saw snaps at undertackle on some third down plays, allowing defensive end Justin Trattou to get some rare playing time at Robison’s left end spot. On the first of Trattou’s six snaps, he forced a third-down throwaway that led to Detroit’s second three-and-out to start the game.
