EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Kyle Rudolph has resumed his role as the top tight end in the Vikings offense, but that doesn’t mean he’s fully healthy after undergoing double hernia surgery in September.
Rudolph missed seven games, eight weeks including the bye, and was used sparingly in his first game back on Nov. 16 in Chicago. Almost a month later, offensive coordinator Norv Turner says he doesn’t expect Rudolph to have his full burst back until next training camp.
