MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota Vikings have suspended a 24-year-old defensive end for use of performance enhancing substances.
Vikings Spokesman Jon Ekstrom says Spencer Nealy is suspended without pay for four 2014 regular-season games.
Nealy, a Texas A&M grad who just had his rookie season with the Vikings, will be eligible to participate in all off- and pre-season practices and games.
He will not be able to return to the team’s active roster until after their Sept. 28 game with the Atlanta Falcons.
