Browns announce that third-string QB Brian Hoyer will start Sunday

The Vikings started the season 0-2 and may have been in need of a pick-me-up.

They got it Wednesday, with the announcement that Browns starting quarterback Brandon Weeden will not start Sunday’s game due to injury. And Jason Campbell, the Browns’ listed backup, has been leap-frogged by third-string signal caller Brian Hoyer.
