Bleacher Report – Vikings

Kyle Rudolph active, Bengals’ Mixon out

By Matthew Coller

Despite missing the entire week of practice, tight end Kyle Rudolph will be in the lineup for the Minnesota Vikings as they face the Cincinnati Bengals at US Bank Stadium.

Rudolph suffered an ankle injury against the Carolina Panthers last week. Even with Rudolph active, the Vikings’ tight end group will have a different look. The team promoted Kyle Carter from the practice squad this week and placed Blake Bell on IR.

Rudolph has 53 receptions and seven touchdowns this season.

Left tackle Riley Reiff, who was listed as doubtful with an ankle injury, is out as is Mackensie Alexander.

For the Bengals, they will be without running back Joe Mixon, who is missing his second straight game with a concussion. Cincinnati is especially short handed on defense as linebacker Vontaze Burfict and corner Dre Kirkpatrick are both out.
