The Minnesota Vikings found the perfect situation to give Teddy Bridgewater some real-game reps.
Bridgewater took over under center for Case Keenum with the Vikings crushing the Bengals 34-0. He entered to a standing ovation at US Bank Stadium
Since mid-October, Bridgewater has been fully practicing with the team following a 14-month recovery from a severe knee injury suffered prior to the 2016 opener. He has not appeared on the injury report since coming back to practice.
Bridgewater’s appearance shouldn’t offer any threat to Keenum’s job security. The Vikings’ starting QB went 20-for-23 against the Bengals with 236 yards and two touchdowns.
