Left tackle Riley Reiff missed a second consecutive day of practice Thursday because of an ankle injury but cornerback Xavier Rhodes (hip) was able to return on a limited basis as the Vikings prepared for Sunday’s game against Cincinnati at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Also sitting out for a second consecutive day were tight end Kyle Rudolph (ankle), cornerback Mackensie Alexander (chest) and tight end Blake Bell (shoulder).
If Reiff can’t play on Sunday, the Vikings likely will start Rashod Hill at left tackle. Hill has been starting in place of Mike Remmers at right tackle, but Remmers (lower back) has been able to do limited work the past two days after being out for five games. Center Pat Elflein, who missed last Sunday’s game because of a shoulder injury, also was able to do limited work in Thursday’s practice.
