Bleacher Report – Vikings

Diggs, Newman questionable, Berger out vs. Cowboys

By Matthew Coller

The Minnesota Vikings will be without their starting center on Thursday night when they face the Dallas Cowboys. The team announced that Joe Berger is out for the matchup after suffering a concussion last week.

Top receiver Stefon Diggs is listed as questionable, but chances are good that he plays considering he has practiced every day this week. Cornerback Terence Newman, who missed the Vikings’ Thanksgiving Day game against Detroit, is also questionable. Newman fully participated in practice on Tuesday.

Punt returner Marcus Sherels and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd are also out and corner Mackensie Alexander is doubtful with a groin injury.

Quarterback Sam Bradford is a full-go after being limited in practice this week with an ankle problem.

Safety Harrison Smith and nickel corner Captain Munnerlyn are also set to play after battling ankle injuries throughout the week.
