Bleacher Report – Vikings

Watch: Minnesota Vikings-Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day

By Vikings – WCCO | CBS Minnesota

By Jeremiah Delgado

The NFC North rejoices as the Green Bay Packers are not in the picture this year for the division crown. The Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions are set to battle for sole possession of first place in the division on Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving Day in the NFL will kickoff with these two division foes. The last time these two played it was a real letdown for Vikings fans as it looked like the Vikings had snapped their three-game losing streak, when Rhett Ellison rushed in for a one-yard touchdown with 23 seconds to go.

Minnesota knows how the rest of the game went and now they sit at 6-4 with an opportunity to take back the division. This is going to be a tough game for them because of their inability to score on offense. The defense and special teams was responsible for two touchdowns last week at Arizona.

They need to find a way to score because Detroit is going to be firing on all cylinders. The defense for Minnesota can not stay on the field all game long. Minnesota’s offense needs to avoid constant three-and-outs.

The problem for their offense is that outside of Stefon Diggs, there are no real playmakers. They need to try running the ball and own the time of possession.

There are many ways this game can be watched. The most obvious way to watch is live on CBS as the game will be called by the team of Phil Simms and Jim Nantz. The other way is by streaming the game online.

This game will streamed on several devices including Apple TV, Roku, Xbox One, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and Chromecast. Don’t forget you can also watch on CBSSports.com.
