Three key Minnesota Vikings players were sitting out practice on Wednesday. Safety Andrew Sendejo, running back Jerick McKinnon and wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson were not participating.
Sendejo was injured against the Eagles after picking off Carson Wentz. The Vikings’ safety was tackled by Wentz just short of the end zone and was forced to miss the remainder of the game. Jayron Kearse took his place.
McKinnon battled through an ankle injury of his own, leaving and returning to the field several times against Philadelphia, but Matt Asiata took the majority of the snaps.
