The Minnesota Vikings (5-0) are on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles (3-2).
Second quarter
– Jerick McKinnon shown limping on the sideline. Matt Asiata has been in the backfield since. A replay shows McKinnon’s ankle getting rolled under.
– Sam Bradford has struggled at times, but hit Kyle Rudolph on a third down to bring the Vikings within field goal range.
– Blair Walsh has been a topic of conversation this year at times because of his three field goal and two extra point misses but he nailed a 50-yard field goal to put the Vikings up 3-0.
– The Vikings’ special teams has been terrific this year, but not on Josh Huff’s 98-yard touchdown return to put Philly on the board or by committing a personal foul penalty on the extra point that allowed the Eagles to go for two. Eagles up 8-3.

First quarter
– Pass rusher Brandon Graham has already gotten into the backfield against TJ Clemmings multiple times. On Sam Bradford’s interception near the goal line, Clemmings got destroyed and Graham hit Bradford’s arm.

– The Vikings are doing exactly what Washington did last week to Carson Wentz, pressuring him and forcing him to throw intermediate passes. Wentz overthrew his man on Sendejo’s interception.
– Jake Long makes his first appearance of the game on the third drive down by the goal line.
– The Vikings’ offensive line is finally hurting them as Connor Barwin destroyed Long and knocked the ball out of Bradford’s hand for a fumble.
– Sendejo was injured on his interception and Jayron Kearse has come in to take his place. He was carted off the field.
– Wentz with a second bad throw down the field that gets intercepted. The throw by Wentz was baffling as he tossed the ball into four Vikings. Zimmer dialed up a brilliant play where Harrison Smith lined up at the line of scrimmage, then dropped back underneath the receiver.
– The NFL really needs to figure out what pass interference is. They picked up the flag on this….

– Cordarrelle Patterson as a gunner has been a revolution. He made a great play at the goal line to get the ball downed inside the 5-yard line.
– Wentz missed throws on two potential big plays, including a bomb down the sideline where Kearse had totally misplayed Matthews but the ball was overthrown.
