Stefon Diggs participated in practice for the second straight day as he recovers from a groin injury that kept him out of the Minnesota Vikings’ last game against the Houston Texans. While the Vikings succeeded in the passing game against the Texans without their No. 1, Diggs’ return would be welcome as Minnesota takes on the No. 3 defense in the NFL in points against.
“He’s obviously a very good player, and he attracts attention,” offensive coordinator Norv Turner said Thursday. “If a team decides to put an emphasis on him or put their best player on him, it opens things for everyone else, and obviously, when he gets singled up, he has had very good production.”
Sharrif Floyd was stretching with the team but not practicing. He has been out since Week 1 with a knee injury.
Tight end David Morgan was also practicing, putting him on track to play on Sunday against the Eagles.
