ESPN’s Ed Werder is reporting that after missing the entire week of practice with a groin injury, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs will not play against the Houston Texans.
Diggs was listed as doubtful on the Friday injury report. He leads the team with 25 receptions for 372 yards.
The Vikings will have plenty of options about how to replace Diggs’ production, including using first-round pick Laquon Treadwell or veteran receiver Jarius Wright. Werder reports that Wright will see more of the field.
Here are the rest of the inactives:
OT Andre Smith
DT Sharrif Floyd
TE Rhett Ellison
TE David Morgan
LB Kentrell Brothers
RB Ronnie Hillman
