Bleacher Report – Vikings

Vikings’ game against Giants could be flexed to Sunday Night Football

By Andrew Krammer

The Vikings could get another prime-time game on Dec. 27, if the New York Giants defeat the Miami Dolphins tonight.

The NFL announced the winner of Monday Night Football will decide whether or not the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers will be flexed out of Sunday Night Football in less than two weeks. If the Giants win, the Vikings and Giants will move from 12 p.m. CT to 7:30 p.m. CT, hosting a rematch of the Josh Freeman game more than two years ago. If the Dolphins win, the matchup will remain Ravens-Steelers.

Perhaps the Vikings will be rooting for Miami. Minnesota is 7-1 in games that kickoff at noon central this season, compared to 1-4 in other start times.
