Bleacher Report – Vikings

Vikings practice Friday without Joseph and Sendejo, get Anthony Barr back

By Andrew Krammer

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Vikings took the practice field on Friday for the final full tune-up before Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks without defensive tackle Linval Joseph or safety Andrew Sendejo.

Joseph (foot) hasn’t been seen on the practice field all week, making it a long-shot for him to play against the Seahawks. Sharrif Floyd has moved over from defensive tackle to nose in Joseph’s stead, with Tom Johnson replacing Floyd.

Sendejo has also been held out of practices this week after suffering a knee injury in the Vikings’ 20-10 win at Atlanta last Sunday. Second-year safety Antone Exum Jr. appears in line for his second career start as he’s lined up next to Harrison Smith throughout the week. Smith (knee) appears on track to return after practicing all week.

Linebacker Anthony Barr said his absence from Thursday’s practice was precautionary, and he was able to get out there with his teammates on Friday. Barr, who has played the last month with a broken left hand, added a groin ailment to the injury report this week. He has been limited.

The Vikings will release their final injury report this afternoon.
