EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — At the end of a commotion-filled row of lockers, T.J. Clemmings sat quietly on Saturday afternoon, slicing tape off his ankles following the last practice before his NFL debut on Monday.
The preseason lights didn’t phase Clemmings, offensive coordinator Norv Turner said, and coaches like that mental stability from their rookie. But Clemmings, who was originally planned to observe in 2015, said he just wants to get his feet wet after playing 117 snaps in the preseason, none amounting to even half of a game in four exhibitions.
