EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Vikings missed two key members of the offense on Wednesday as Adrian Peterson was not at practice and center John Sullivan continues to sit out while resting his back.
Peterson was absent as the hearing for the NFLPA’s contempt motion took place in downtown Minneapolis. He’s expected back for Thursday’s practice, the final tune-up before Saturday’s exhibition at Dallas. Peterson won’t play until the team’s Sept. 14 regular season opener at San Francisco.
