EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Vikings lost another offensive tackle for the season as Carter Bykowski underwent season-ending surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle on Tuesday, according to his agent.
Bykowski, 25, was in the mix for the Vikings’ swing tackle spot as he worked with the second-team unit throughout training camp. Bykowski left Saturday’s preseason game against Tampa Bay due to what the team categorized as a shoulder injury.
