MINNEAPOLIS — Mike Harris was just beginning to settle into his new position at right guard, until the Vikings’ current setup for their offensive line was toppled on the second snap in Saturday’s exhibition win over Tampa Bay.
Starting right tackle Phil Loadholt hit the ground in agony, suffering what the team fears is a season-ending torn Achilles, before some fans were able to even settle in their seats at TCF Bank Stadium. Loadholt will have a MRI on Sunday to determine the severity of his injury, per coach Mike Zimmer.
