But if you’re like rookie defensive end Danielle Hunter, listed 6-foot-5, 252 pounds, it’s not a particularly natural adjustment to keep your pad level low and stick to the techniques taught by coach Mike Zimmer and defensive line coach Andre Patterson. Both want Hunter attacking the opponent while staying low in his stance, instead of ‘popping up’ and losing some of his speed off the edge.
