MANKATO, Minn. — B.J. Dubose pulled a hamstring during his 40-yard dash attempt at the NFL scouting combine in February, falling down after he crossed the finish line.
After he healed up, Dubose didn’t stop running. Dubose said he dropped a significant amount of weight after the team’s mandatory minicamp, using the five weeks off to work on his conditioning and shape.
“I say I dropped about 20, 25 pounds,” Dubose said after Monday’s walkthrough. “That helped out a lot. That helped with my mobility, ability to bend. It helped out tremendously.”
