Adrian Peterson’s punishment has been served, but the fight for legal precedent continues.
Federal judge David Doty, who ruled in favor of Peterson and the NFL Players Association on Peterson’s punishment case in February, will hear the NFLPA’s motion on Aug. 13 to hold the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell in contempt of court for refusal to act on Doty’s ruling from Feb. 26.
