I’m guilty.
Teddy Bridgewater has played six-plus quarters of regular-season football in the NFL, yet we all seem to be assuming the sprained left ankle he suffered late in Sunday’s victory over Atlanta won’t stop him from starting Thursday night in Green Bay.
Our optimism is based on the fact that Bridgewater looked so good against the Falcons.
It’s based on the fact that with Adrian Peterson away from the Vikings for an undetermined period of time, and maybe gone forever, that Bridgewater is viewed as the new face of this franchise.
