EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — In 2011, Matt Asiata was working shifts at a Utah warehouse, Jerick McKinnon was a sophomore quarterback at Georgia Southern and Adrian Peterson was on the eve of his 2,097-yard rushing season.
Three years later, Asiata and McKinnon are hoisted up as the two-headed rushing attack for the Minnesota Vikings as the team’s best player steps away from the team to deal with his legal matters.
