The Minnesota Vikings filled a major need along the offensive line with their first pick on Saturday.
The Vikings took Stanford guard David Yankey at No. 145 in the fifth round and shortly after dealt the 148th pick to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for the Panthers’ fifth-round pick at 168th and a seventh-round pick at 225th.
It’s unclear if the trade with the Panthers involves future picks.
