With the news that Rick Spielman, Mike Zimmer and Norv Turner attended Alabama’s Pro Day on Wednesday, some speculated what that could mean.
From afar, it’s obviously difficult to discern. I’d argue that it’s dangerous to read too much into the composition of the group. If those were the only three Vikings staffers in attendance, I don’t think it necessarily means they were focussed on offense, specifically quarterback A.J. McCarron.
Zimmer will run the defense, Turner the offense, and Spielman the personnel.
