The Vikings are retaining one of the long-time members of their defensive line. The club has re-signed reserve defensive tackle Fred Evans to a one-year contract, a league source tells PFT’s Mike Florio. Evans, 30, appeared in 14 games for the Vikings in 2013, making 20 tackles.
