The Vikings’ defense has a new Captain.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Vikings have signed cornerback Captain Munnerlyn to a three-year deal worth as much as $15 million.
Munnerlyn, 25, played the last five seasons in Carolina, earning a reputation as one of the league’s better slot cornerbacks. He tallied a career-high 74 tackles last season to go along with two interceptions and 3.5 sacks.
