Initially, the report was the Minnesota Vikings wanted to restructure defensive tackle Letroy Guion’s deal this offseason.
On Thursday, the Vikings cut Guion outright, forgoing $300,000 in dead money, per ESPN, and adding about $4 million to their cap space. The Vikings now have upwards of $40 million in room to spend this offseason after also releasing tight end John Carlson earlier this week.
