After leading the University of Central Florida Knights to their most successful season in program history, quarterback Blake Bortles will forgo his senior season for the NFL.
Bortles, listed 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, led the Knights to a 12-1 season and a 52-42 upset victory over Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl on New Years Day. Bortles finished with 25 touchdowns to nine interceptions en route to school’s American Athletic Conference title.
