Bleacher Report – Vikings

Vikings LB Erin Henderson Arrested For DWI

By Jeff Wald

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesota Vikings linebacker Erin Henderson might have played his final game for the Vikings when they beat the Chicago Bears 14-13 last week.

For at least the second time since November, Henderson was arrested Wednesday in Chanhassen on suspicion of DWI. According to jail records, Henderson was booked into the Carver County Jail at 3:03 p.m. Wednesday for fourth-degree DWI, third-degree DWI, second-degree DWI test refusal and violating the conditions of a limited driver’s license.

Henderson sued the state in late November 2013 after being arrested for probable cause of driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance. He filed a lawsuit, stating the police didn’t have probable cause to stop him.

In that case, Henderson was stopped at 3:19 a.m. in Eden Prairie for probable cause DWI and possession of a controlled substance. The arrest occurred at the Fredrick-Miller Spring, which is located north of Flying Cloud Drive on Spring Road in Eden Prairie. Police said he had a blood alcohol content of .11.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, it wasn’t the first time Henderson has been under suspicion for driving under the influence. Henderson was stopped Aug. 31, 2013, near Interstate 394 and Dunwoody Boulevard after troopers noticed him weaving. He was warned and released.
