EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Adrian Peterson claimed he would lobby to ownership for coach Leslie Frazier on Monday. He likely never got the chance.
Frazier has been fired as head coach of the Minnesota Vikings, according to a release from the team.
Other media outlets had reported Sunday that Frazier would not be back in 2014.
Minnesota finished the 2013 season with a 5-10-1 record, including a 4-3-1 record in the final eight games of the season.
