MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Minnesota Viking fans are a bit melancholy after the Vikings beat the Lions at the Metrodome.
“It’s sad to see the dome go, but, hey, the end of one thing is the start of something new,” another man said in the lobby of a nearby hotel.
After last season, something new is definitely welcomed by fans who endured this year’s tough season.
Next month, the dome will be demolished to make room for a new stadium.
The Vikings play at the University of Minnesota for the next two seasons, until the new facility is ready in 2016.
