Adrian Peterson’s season is finished.
The Minnesota Vikings made that official Saturday afternoon when they downgraded the Pro Bowl running back from doubtful to out on the injury report. That means Peterson will miss Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Detroit Lions at the Metrodome. That, of course, will be the Vikings’ last game in the building before it’s torn down to make room for a new stadium.
